He has been a professor at Pratt Institute since , and leads workshops through the Santa Fe Photographic Workshops and other institutions. His work, which has won numerous awards and has been exhibited internationally, can be seen here. He is perhaps best known for his over 30 years of printing using the Platinum-Palladium process, even collaborating with the Arches paper Mill in to create the now-famous paper sheet Arches Platine.
Over the last year he has consulted with Digital Transitions to examine the potential of using their Cultural Heritage Instant Capture Film Digitization systems for creating files for printing in historical archival alternative processes.
